March: New Services and Training Available
One of our most popular courses over the last quarter has been our IATP-accredited Non-Licensed Asbestos Works Training Course, held at our Fareham Head Quarters. This one-day course enables attendees to safely and professionally work with and remove lower risk, non licensed Asbestos Containing Materials.
This training is valuable for builders and trades who work on refurbishment, demolition, and extensions to existing buildings. In order to attend this course you must have completed Level 1 Asbestos Awareness training within 6 months prior to attending the Non Licensed Works Course. We are currently including Level 1 Asbestos Awareness offering free of charge, if required so do not delay taking up this opportunity while available using our ‘Contact Us’ form.
In March we launched our ‘Lead Paint Survey & Analysis’ service which is a necessity if you're involved with refurbishment and renovation work in properties of a certain age, or listed buildings in particular. As with other asbestos inspections, an Artisan Environmental surveyor will attend the site to inspect the property and make a detailed register of lead paint coatings which involves taking samples of painted finishes within a given room or area depending on the scope of works. The samples will be analysed and a full report will be provided.
